Projects A lovely example of mid-1920's Tudor-Revival architecture located on the main residential boulevard of Glen Ridge, New Jersey, this 8,500 square foot house was affectionately restored and expanded on four levels to accommodate a young family of five. The predominant interior feature—the oak-paneling used in the Foyer, Library, and staircase—became the model for the entire renovation and was reproduced in the Kitchen cabinetry, Master Bathroom, and various window and radiator enclosures. The stair itself was extended below a new skylight into a previously unused Attic, which became a spacious Guest Bedroom wing of two additional Bedroom suites with the introduction of numerous dormer windows. The original limestone Tudor Arched Entry was copied exactly in cast stone and used to create a new Courtyard Entry at the rear of the house. The two lovely patterned brick Bays seen at the front façade were used to extend the garden façade at the rear and creates a shaped Breakfast Room at the ground level and, on the second floor, a reading alcove overlooking a new pool.
